Celebrities Unite During NYC Protest

Many celebrities united today during a protest in New York City to protest against police brutality, as well as promoting justice for Eric Garner and Michael Brown, who were both murdered by law enforcement officers. Everyone from Lala and Diddy to Rihanna to Russell Simmons were on social media and even in the crowd to show their support and walk the streets with those who were participating in the march that drew thousands who were walking the streets of New York to promote awareness and to get their voices heard about Garner, who was choked to death by New York Police Department Officer Daniel Pantaleo and  Brown, who was gunned down by Ferguson Police Department Officer Darren Wilson.

The march today drew thousands as many walked up and down New York using the phrases “I Can’t Breathe” and “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot,” which were the last words Garner and Brown used before they died.
