If you have the album or even listened to it, you either are in love with the album or you really dislike it. Either way, it made J. Cole even more successful.
His new album, “2014 Forest Hills Drive,” went number one, bumping Taylor Swift’s “1989” album down to number two. Although the album was leaked a week early before it’s original release, Mr. Cole World himself sold over 361, 120 copies within the first week of the release of the album. This is great because of the goal of the album was to sell 100,000 copies, although it sold over more than that.
This is a tweet that was posted from the Dreamville team about the numbers from the album:
Congratulations to J. Cole + his team on the major success!
