Pittsburg Steelers player Le’Veon Bell will not be playing in tonight’s game.
The Steelers running back suffered a hyperextended injury to his right knee during the Bengals game on Sunday. In addition, to make things worse, he won’t be playing at all. The good news, however, is he didn’t suffer any serious damages to his ligaments or any major structural damage.
According to ESPN, he really wanted to help his team out tonight:
He had been hopeful he would be able to play against the Ravens after doing some light running on Wednesday. But that optimism faded over the past two days after Bell could not build on the progress he made earlier in the week.
The Steelers are planning to win tonight’s game against the Baltimore Ravens.
