A United Kingdom man was arrested after he sent his son to school with drugs and weapons inside of the backpack.
Lee Webb sent his son off to school on a normal morning sometime in March. However, when Smarty Pants Nursery instructors found drugs and weapons inside of the three year old’s backpack. According to the Daily Mail, the teachers then called local law enforcement officers:
Shocked staff opened up the toddler’s rucksack at snack time expecting to find food and drink, but instead, discovered cocaine and banned stimulant mephedrone inside.
Childcare workers also found two knives, a set of scales and other drug paraphernalia, Canterbury Crown Court heard.
Webb was arrested and charged with drug possession and was sentenced to four years in jail.
